Immediately on starting the work, all the roads under the PMGSY are required to have informatory Sign Board giving the particulars of the road work as well as the name of the contractor etc.

Road furniture like Km Stones, 200m Stones, Cautionary Signs etc. are to be provided on all roads constructed under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana.
